Company Outreach

Named partners Robert Kapusta and Paul Lewis Otzel are dedicated to the concept that attorneys should contribute to the quality of life in the community where their firm practices.

In that spirit, Kapusta & Otzel, LLC sponsors the Summer Nights by Harbor Lights concert series presented each summer by the Milford Chamber of Commerce. The concerts are performed at the Rotary Pavilion at Fowler Field behind the Milford Public Library. All concerts are free to the public. Kapusta & Otzel has sponsored the series for 11 years.

Individual Outreach

In addition to their work on behalf of the legal profession, Kapusta & Otzel attorneys contribute in many ways to the health and progress of surrounding communities.

Robert Kapusta is currently a director of Milford Progress, Inc., a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Milford Chamber of Commerce and dedicated to taking care of and promoting businesses within the Milford community. He is also a director of the Milford Economic Development Commission, the official engine for economic development in the City of Milford. Mr. Kapusta is a past president of the Milford Chamber of Commerce and continues to serve on its Board of Directors.

Paul Lewis Otzel is past president of the Devon Rotary Club and remains active as treasurer of the Devon Rotary Foundation Trust. He is an active member of the Bridgeport Elks Organization. Mr. Otzel recently completed five years of membership on the parish council for St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, culminating in his presidency from 2002 through 2003.

Vincent J. Averaimo promotes local business vitality as a member of the Board of Directors for the award-winning Milford Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as an official Ambassador for the Chamber and is current secretary of the Milford Leads Group. The Milford Leads Group provides a means for businesspersons in the Greater Milford Area to advance their skills and share knowledge of developments in the region. Mr. Averaimo also coaches in the Milford United Soccer Club Division "D."
